ABOUT JOSEPH

Joseph L. Wilson IV has carried over 11 years of experience in the landscape architecture and irrigation design industries, specifically in the commercial and planning design. As a registered landscape architect, his experience ranges from master planned community design, resort/golf course design, park/plaza design, urban landscape design, sports facilities, landscape design, and mixed use commercial development projects. He has a talent for creating outdoor spaces that are both inviting and relaxing. Acknowledging the changes in our culture and environment, he began studying water conservation and water reuse, that provided him a certificate and title of irrigation designer with Irrigation Association. His motivation, drive, and imagination is featured in the majority of his work as you can see in his portfolio.

A graduate of Kansas State University from the Landscape Architecture Department, Joseph started off as a junior designer in a local Littleton/Highlands Ranch firm. Working his way up to senior project designer, he gathered extensive experience in hand graphics, Photoshop, SketchUp, & AutoCAD usage. He greatly enjoys working with clients and jurisdictions in order to gain insight and ideas to culminate in sophisticated project designs. This makes him a great asset to any project requiring creative input and thoughtfulness.

Joseph’s positive attitude and strong work ethic has been a staple part of his life, but not just in the landscape architecture world. He has volunteered many hours of service work with Habitat for Humanity, and is one of the fundamental leaders with the LIVESTRONG Army group in Denver which provides help and activities for fellow cancer survivors. He also is involved with the local American Society of Landscape Architects and provides input for design practices with the Irrigation Association.

Joseph’s high level of professionalism, enormous amount of energy, commitment to excellence, and love for the practice are major influences for his work and life in general.
